The Hidden Life of Toxins is the podcast that does toxin-free living research for you!
Become a well-educated, empowered consumer and have clear information on toxin-free living WITHOUT hours of research and hundreds of Google searches.
In 2015, while looking for ways to improve her health, Christina discovered a sobering and life-changing truth: we are exposed to hundreds of toxins every day. There are harmful chemicals in the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, and the products we use – from makeup and toothpaste to clothing, furniture, and even children’s toys.
Christina started learning everything she could about toxins, how they have made their way into every part of our lives, and what we can do about it. She then applied what she had learned and watched her health improve.
She has spent over seven years researching toxins and created this podcast so that you don’t have to dedicate years of YOUR life looking for this information.
Let’s explore the hidden life of toxins!
The Hidden Life of Toxins: Non-Toxic & Natural Living
5. Toxic Ingredients to Avoid in Personal Care Products
In this episode, you're going to learn about five groups of widely used but problematic ingredients in personal care products: Formaldehyde Releasers, Parabens, Butylated Compounds, Petroleum-Based Ingredients, and Ethoxylated Ingredients.
I will explain what these ingredients are, why you should avoid them, and how they are regulated. (Or, in most cases, how they are NOT regulated.)
I’ve also created a downloadable list of 85+ toxic ingredients to avoid in personal care products for you!
Ingredient labels used to make zero sense to me. But the more research I did on this over the years, the less confusing it got.
My hope is that this episode and the list I’m sharing will help you understand ingredient labels without having to research this topic for years yourself.
